July 4 Latin Mass Change and First Sunday Potluck

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Friday July 4, the Latin Mass at Saint Ann parish will be at 9:00 a.m. (not 7:00 a.m.). Looking ahead to this weekend (and next), there are two potluck events to share.

Feast of Saints Peter and Paul

This Sunday is the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul. In the Gospel reading for this Sunday, Saint Peter is asked by Our Lord who is the Son of Man, and Simon Peter confesses that Jesus is the Messiah.

Latin Mass Cancellations Friday & Saturday

There are two Latin Mass cancellations to share for tomorrow and Saturday.

Second Sunday after Pentecost

This Sunday is the Second Sunday after Pentecost. It follows by three days the Feast of Corpus Christi celebrated, according to the traditional Roman Calendar of 1962, on the Thursday following Trinity Sunday.

Special Latin Masses this Week

This Wednesday June 18 at 6:00 p.m., in lieu of the regular Low Mass, Saint Ann will offer a special Solemn High Mass. The occasion is the Quo Vadis vocation discernment days. All are welcome to attend this sublime Mass. Looking ahead, this Thursday is the Feast of Corpus Christi and we share the schedule as announced.

Trinity Sunday

This Sunday is Holy Trinity Sunday. One week after celebrating the descent of the Third Person of the Trinity at Pentecost, we celebrate our triune God: Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Father Carl Kaltreider (1943-2025)

It is with great sadness to share that Fr. Carl Kaltreider, parish administrator at Our Lady of the Angels Mission in Marion passed away on Wednesday June 11.
