Spiritual Bouquet for Bishop Michael Martin

As announced on Monday, the Carolina Traditional Liturgy Society is organizing a spiritual bouquet for Bishop Michael Martin, as he is ordained the fifth bishop of Charlotte later today at Saint Mark parish.

As our new Shepherd, Bishop Martin will need our prayers as he leads and cares for souls, both lay and clergy, Catholic and non-Catholic, that live in the territory of Western North Carolina.

To participate in this bouquet, please send us your contributions by Friday June 7, the Feast of the Sacred Heart.

This Sunday June 2 is First Sunday Food and Fellowship after the 11:30 a.m. Latin Mass at Saint Thomas Aquinas parish. All are invited to come share the food and fellowship following the 11:30 a.m. Latin Mass. If you can bring something, or volunteer for clean-up, please check a box or two on the June First Sunday Food and Fellowship sign-up sheet.

First Saturday Mass Cancellations for June 1

Due to the diaconate ordinations, there will not be a Latin Mass on Saturday June 1 at Saint Thomas Aquinas or Saint John the Baptist in Tryon.

However, there will be a 10:00 a.m. Latin Mass at Church of the Epiphany in Blowing Rock.

Please pray for the seminarians being ordained as transitional deacons on Saturday.
